“Call of the Night,” also known as “Yofukashi no Uta,” is a Summer 2022 anime that has made headlines for various reasons. The background visuals, character designs, opening and ending songs, and, most importantly, everyone’s favorite, Amamiya Sora (previous roles: “Aqua from Konosuba,” Chizuru from Rent-a-girlfriend”) returns as the main lead character Nanakusa Nazuna with her charming yet seductive voice.
Call of the Night is stunning, beautiful, and hilarious. The nighttime environment is encapsulated in purple, setting up a perfect scenery for these characters. Like the manga, the characters feel more lively as they bounce off each other with enthusiasm.

Naota, on the other hand, has no idea that his mundane existence is about to change forever: Haruko Haruhara, a Vespa-riding, bass guitar-wielding, pink-haired psychopath whose first encounter with Naota leaves him with tire tracks on his back and a giant horn on his head.
Though all he wants is some peace and quiet, when Haruko takes up residence at his parents’ home, Naota finds himself dragged into the heart of the greatest battle for supremacy that Earth—and quite possibly the entire universe—has ever seen.
Both have a similar plot (kind of): Middle school boy effectively leaves aside school to hang out with a supernatural, eccentric older woman with a considerably less mature personality than him.
