The official trailer for the upcoming Spy x Family Part 2 has been released. The newly revealed opening song “SOUVENIR” by BUMP OF CHICKEN is previewed, along with additional footage from the Forger family’s colorful lives.
The second cour of Spy x Family will air in Japan on October 1. The first season debuted on April 9. The anime is based on Tatsuya Endou’s Shueisha-published manga, which debuted in 2019 and will conclude with the 10th tankoubon volume on October 4, 2022.
The anime’s staff includes Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Dororo) as director, Kazuaki Shimada (The Promised Neverland Season 2) as character designer and co-chief animation director, Kyouji Asano (Great Pretender) as co-chief animation director, and Takashi Katagiri (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- episode director), Norihito Takahashi (Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet co-storyboarder and unit director) and Harada Takahiro (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform episode director) as assistant directors. Wit Studio and CloverWorks are the animation production companies.
Other staff include Satoshi Hashimoto (Ranking of Kings) as color designer, Kazuo Nagai (My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising) and Hisayo Usui (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform co-art director) as art directors, Akane Fushihara (Love of Kill) as photography director, and Yuuya Sakuma (Tokyo 24th Ward) as assistant photography director.
Additionally, the credits for the new second cour trailer list Kanami Tanaka (Spy x Family assistant color designer) as another color designer.
Meanwhile, the main cast of Spy x Family includes Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, and Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger.

The master spy, codenamed Twilight, has spent his days on undercover missions, all for the dream of a better world. But one day, he receives a particularly difficult new order from command. For his mission, he must form a temporary family and start a new life?! A spy/action/comedy about a one-of-a-kind family!
The manga is serialized on Shonen Jump+ and published under the Jump Comics+ label. Viz Media publishes it in English.
