A trailer for the manga adaptation’s upcoming sixth tankoubon volume has revealed an anime adaptation of My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer. The trailer will be released on November 11.
My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer was first a web novel by Mojikakiya that begin serialization on Shousetsuka ni Narou in September 2017. A light novel series illustrated by toi8 and published under Earth Star Entertainment’s Earth Star Novel label began in February 2018 and ended in November 2021 with 11 volumes. The manga by Kuu Urushibara began in May 2018.
J Novel Club publishes the light novels in English. Bookwalker Global describes the plot as:
The life of an adventurer isn’t always a glamorous one. Belgrieve finds this out the hard way when a deadly encounter robs him of his leg and the ability to pursue his dreams not long after setting off for fame and fortune. But fate isn’t finished with this retired adventurer! While gathering herbs in the wilderness, he discovers an abandoned baby girl and names her Angeline after deciding to raise her as his own.
