A TV anime adaptation of the Giji-Harem (Pseudo Harem) romantic comedy manga has been announced. A visual has also been revealed.
Giji-Harem follows fellow drama club members Rin and Eiji. Eiji dreams of having a harem, and so Rin decides to use her acting skills to play a variety of characters.
The lead characters, Eiji Kitahama and Rin Nanakura, are voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto and Saori Hayami, respectively.
The Shogakukan-published manga by Yuu Saitou ran in Monthly Shonen Sunday from 2019 to 2021. The series is collected into six tankoubon volumes. Giji-Harem (Pseudo Harem) was originally a Twitter comic.
Synopsis:
Eiji Kitahama, a second-year high school student, wants nothing more than to be popular. Rin Nanakura, his drama club junior, uses her acting skills to create a harem of loving girls for him to help him realize this dream. Though the various “girls” all show affection for Eiji, the actress behind them is very real. Eiji is constantly delighted by Rin’s colorful acting, but will the starlet herself ever win his heart?
