Fortnite and Jujutsu Kaisen are rumored to be teaming up for an exciting anime collaboration. A reliable leaker, BarbieharpFN, who previously leaked the Terminator crossover, has shared evidence of three Jujutsu Kaisen characters joining the Fortnite metaverse. Players can expect themed items and experiences inspired by the anime, creating a thrilling crossover for fans of both worlds.
Along with Gojo, Nobara, and Megumi have been revealed. According to the leaks, the Outfits in question appear to be very modern in nature. It’s possible that these cosmetics were created with Unreal Engine 5.1 in mind. These look a lot better than the older cel-shaded anime Outfits. That being said, here’s some more information on these upcoming Outfits.
Gojo appears to have a selectable style, which is most likely his Season 2 prequel appearance or a bandana-less style. And strangely enough, there’s no sign of Yuji Itadori, the series’ protagonist yet.
Jujutsu Kaisen Fortnite Bundles & Prices
Here are all the Jujutsu Kaisen bundles that are set to arrive in Fortnite:
These Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen cosmetics are set to cost a whopping 5,200 V-Buck (Megumi + Nobara Bundle + Gojo sold separately).
Aside from the Outfits, the leaker/data-miner BarbieharpFN claims that just like in other collaborations, there will be a slew of other cosmetic items associated with the collaboration. Back Blings, Pickaxes, Emotes, and possibly a Glider are among them. Given that anime is the newest trend that Epic Games is capitalizing on, the cosmetics will be expensive; here’s a breakdown as shown in the tweet linked above:
- Outfit – 1,500 V-Bucks
- Pickaxes – 800 V-Bucks
- Emtoes – 200 V-Bucks (In Bundle/Set)
These prices are based on speculation. The price of cosmetics may vary when they are added to the Item Shop.
Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Release Date
The cosmetic items are expected to appear in-game during Chapter 4 Season 3, which is nearing its end. Considering that Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered on July 6, 2023, it’s reasonable to speculate that the collaboration might happen next month. Typically, Epic Games tends to release anime-related crossovers just before or after a significant episode of the respective anime airs. However, the exact timing of the official collaboration remains to be revealed.
