A teaser visual for the upcoming sequel to 2021’s Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Licht Nameless Girl anime film has been released.
Character designer Kazuya Hirata created the visual, with finishing by Manami Yamaguchi, backgrounds by Yuuki Shinjou, and compositing by Chiptune’s Yuuki Shinjou.
The announcement of a new entry in the Silver Link-produced Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya anime series was made in August 2021, the month of the Japanese premiere of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Licht Nameless Girl. Aside from Nameless Girl, the Fate/kaleid anime consists of four seasons, a 2017 Fate/kaleid liner film, Prisma Illya Movie: Oath Under Snow, and an OVA. The first season of the anime aired in 2013.
Fate/kaleid is based on Hiroshi Hiroyama’s manga of the same name, which serves as an alternate universe magical girl-themed spin-off of Fate/Stay Night. The serialisation of the KADOKAWA-published title began in Monthly Comp-Ace in 2007, with the third “season,” Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 3rei!!, beginning in 2012. As of June 2022, 3rei!! has 13 tankoubon volumes.
