An original anime titled Apocalypse Hotel has been announced and is set to premiere in 2025. A teaser visual and trailer have also been released.
The announcement came via the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account. The original anime series will be produced by CyberAgent and CygamesPictures
The story is set in a hotel in Ginza after the fall of human civilization. Mangaka Izumi Takemoto, known for Apple Paradise and Aoi-chan Panic!, is providing the character design drafts, while Shigeru Murakoshi, the mind behind I Parry Everything and Dark Gathering, is handling the series composition.
Additionally, it was revealed that the opening theme song will be “Skirt” by aiko.
The teaser visual for Apocalypse Hotel features the tagline, “Sayonara, omotenashi” (“Goodbye, hospitality”).
The setting of Apocalypse Hotel is described as follows:
Humanity has perished, and civilization has collapsed on Planet Earth, leaving behind a world where nature has reclaimed its place. Amidst this desolation, one historic hotel in Ginza remains standing. The story unfolds within this hotel, where human beings no longer exist.
