Spy x Family was one of the most anticipated anime of the Spring 2022 season, and it did not disappoint. Anya’s antics with Loid and Yor as they try to figure out how to act like a normal family despite their odd professions are as heartwarming as they are hilarious. It’s not surprising that fans are looking for more shows like this surefire hit. Fortunately, there are some fantastic anime available for those who are interested. Here’s our Top 10 Anime Like Spy x Family
10. Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu
Fumoffu is a comedy classic that follows Sousuke Sagara’s earnest attempts to protect Kaname Chidori while undercover at the latter’s school. Although danger lurks around every corner in the main seasons, the same cannot be said for Fumoffu, which does not stop Sousuke from treating every development as a life or death situation.
Fumoffu makes more use of slapstick humor than Spy x Family, but both feature protagonists who are trying to keep up appearances for the greater good. Sousuke stands out like a sore thumb in comparison to Loid Forger’s ability to blend in, and Chidori is usually the one who has to clean up his messes.

But that means there are several close calls as she is growing up.

When his grandfather suddenly passes away, he returns to the family home to pay his respects. Upon arriving at the house, he meets a mysterious young girl named Rin who, to Daikichi’s astonishment, is his grandfather’s illegitimate daughter!
P.S. Please don’t read the manga after you’ve watched the anime. No matter how much you liked the anime, just DON’T!

6. Kotaro Lives Alone
Those who want to see what a rambunctious child-like Anya would do if she lived alone will enjoy this anime. While what happened to Kotaro’s family remains a mystery, the four-year-old now lives by himself and gets up to mischief.
Plot Summary: One day, manga author Shin Karino is greeted by four-year-old Kotarou Satou, his new next-door neighbor, who gifts him a box of tissues. In Karino’s eyes, Kotarou is an odd kid: he speaks in an extremely formal manner, and he lives alone in his apartment—no parents or relatives in sight. But Kotarou neither seems to mind nor wants to rely on people.
Feeling sympathetic toward Kotarou’s circumstances, Karino decides to follow Kotarou to a bathhouse in case something might happen to him and there he comes to understand the little boy is not so different from him. Little by little, Karino—along with the other residents of the apartment complex—grows fond of Kotarou and his antics. At the same time, Kotarou himself might have found something akin to a family in his unique neighbors.
5. Listen To Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!

But when the couple’s plane goes missing and they are presumed dead, he is forced to take permanent care of the three girls so they are not separated in foster care.
The story of Yuuta gradually becoming a father figure to the three girls as they mourn the loss of their parents is emotionally charged for a comedic slice of life show.
4. Princess Principal
Princess Principal is more focused on the spy side of things, with several elite girls from Queen’s Mayfaire school working as undercover agents. Dorothy oversees the collaboration of Ange le Carré, Chise, and Beatrice.
