10. The Fruit Of Evolution
A high school student Hiiragi Seiichi, who is bullied by his classmates for being a “fat loser”, and his entire school are suddenly transported to a video game-like world of swords and sorcery.
The transfer goes well but Seiichi Hiiragi is left behind. The self-proclaimed god then decides to send Seiichi to the parallel world and let him join his friends there. But, Seiichi ends up in a place deep in the forest because of this bad luck. He is not only far from his schoolmates, but also from people and civilization.
Seiichi’s miserable days seem to worsen as he desperately searches for a way out. When all seems lost, Seiichi discovers a strange fruit known as the “Fruit of Evolution,” which grants him cheat-like abilities.
This anime is pretty much a parody of the isekai genre itself. The mc is basically a dumb high school student who suddenly becomes the strongest and can basically create any skill just by imagining it, and as if that wasn’t enough he even has a harem.
If you just turn off your brain and don’t focus a lot on the non-existent plot, this is surprisingly pretty decent anime to pass the time.
9. Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!
I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want my abilities to be average in my next life. But this was the wish of our dying MC, she is then reincarnated in another world but she is still too overpowered because the world she is born in has a vast difference between the weakest and the strongest beings.
If you like lighthearted anime with an overpowered female main character then this anime is just for you.
8. In Another World With My Smartphone
After being accidentally killed by the world god, Touya Mochizuki gets a second chance at life in a fantasy world, which he explores this unfamiliar world while carrying a phone and overpowered magical powers.
Starting over in this new world, he travels with cute girls vying for his attention. These girls—the twins Linze and Elze Silhoueska, Yumina Urnea Belfast, Leen, and Yae Kokonoe—provide Touya with endless romantic frustrations as he discovers the secrets of this new world.
This anime is as generic as it gets but that doesn’t mean that it’s not enjoyable to watch. If you’re looking for a light-hearted isekai that you can rewatch when you’re bored, then this one checks all the boxes.
7. The World’s Finest Assassin Reincarnated As An Aristocrat
The world’s greatest assassin gets betrayed by his own organization. Drowning in frustration and regrets he suddenly finds himself in front of a goddess. The goddess offers him a reincarnation in a world of swords and magic in exchange for him accepting a crucial mission: to assassinate the hero in that world to save it from destruction.
After accepting the goddess’ proposal he gets reincarnated as the son of a noble family of assassins serving the Alvan Kingdom. Lugh then learns new assassination techniques under his father’s guidance and meets people and tried to live life for his sake, different from his previous life as a mere tool for his organization.
The MC here is an overpowered badass with a calculative Personality + He has a bunch of female companions who admire him.
6. Spirit Chronicles
Believe it or not, Haruto Amakawa, a 20-year-old college student, falls victim to both truck-kun, train-kun, and bus-kun all at the same time. He finds himself in an unfamiliar world in the body of a young boy named Rio. As his and Rio’s memories and personas fuse, Rio realizes that he now possesses magical powers.
Soon after, Rio comes across the kidnapped Bertram Kingdom princess and immediately saves her. To show his appreciation, the king grants him admission to the Bertram Royal Academy. He is excited to study at this prestigious academy, believing it will be a new chapter in his life, but life here proves difficult for him, a slum-dweller surrounded by the majestic children of nobles.
The MC is overpowered and has a pretty calm demeanor and for some reason, he looks exactly like Kirito.
5. I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed My Level
A corporate slave dies of exhaustion and is reincarnated as an immortal being in a fantasy world. She has been killing slimes ‘peacefully’ for at least three centuries. This stereotype is abruptly broken when she realizes she has reached level 99—the highest possible level—through killing slimes alone. The rumors quickly spread, and many people began to seek her for a variety of reasons!
The MC is the strongest but all she wants to do is live a peaceful life with her new friends and overall this anime is a pretty wholesome, lighthearted and fun to watch. If you’re into those things then this is a must-watch for you.
4. The Misfit of Demon King Academy
A long time ago, a war between humans and demons caused widespread chaos and bloodshed. The Demon King, Anos Voldigoad, willingly sacrificed his life to end this seemingly endless conflict, hoping to be reborn in a peaceful future.
However, what awaited him after 2000 years were descendants who had grown too weak after being accustomed to peace, as well as all manner of magic that had deteriorated to the extreme. Anos enrolls in the Demon King Academy, which gathers and educates those who are thought to be the reincarnation of the Demon King, but the academy cannot see through his true powers and labels him as a misfit!
And as if that was not enough, he finds that his name is erased from history and a different name is being hailed as the all-powerful demon king.
If you’re into overpowered mcs who have god-like powers then this anime is just the one for you!
3. Wise Man’s Grandchild
A young victim of a traffic accident is reincarnated in a fantasy world where his adoptive grandfather teaches him everything he needs to know to become a powerful magician — but the boy knows very little about anything else.
It’s your typical isekai with an absurdly overpowered main character + He’s pretty dense about how absurd his magic actually is. The plot and characters aren’t that rememberable but overall it is a pretty decent and enjoyable anime.
If you’re bored and looking for something fun and simple to pass your time, then I’d recommend you to watch it.
2. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation
Despite being bullied, scorned, and oppressed his entire life, a 34-year-old shut-in mustered the courage to attempt something heroic—only for it to end tragically. In an unexpected turn of events, he awakens in another world as Rudeus Greyrat, resuming his life as a baby born to two loving parents.
As Rudeus’ second chance at life begins, he strives to make the most of his newfound freedom while overcoming his traumatic past. And maybe one day he’ll find the one thing he couldn’t find in his previous life: love.
Mushoku Tensei isn’t exactly the easiest show to recommend to the more casual anime fanbase due to the disturbing nature of some of its adult content, some might even say that it’s traumatizing. But, if you get past that, it is one of the best anime where the mc is reincarnated and I would highly recommend watching it. Everything in this anime, from the characters, and art to the plot, is top tier.
1. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
Satoru Mikami falls victim to a random assailant on the streets and is stabbed. However, to his surprise, he wakes up in another world… as a slime. Following his reincarnation, he comes across the sealed Catastrophe-level monster, the “Storm Dragon” Veldora, who has been imprisoned for the past 300 years. Satoru befriends him, sympathizing with his predicament and promising to help him destroy the seal. In exchange, Veldora bestows him with the name ‘Rimuru Tempest’ in order to grant him divine protection.
Rimuru, now with his newfound abilities, quickly evolves into one of the world’s strongest beings in the world. I’d highly recommend watching this as it’s one of the best anime I have ever watched.
