After making a list of some of the most popular harem anime, why not make another list of popular ecchi anime? For a long time, the ecchi genre has been a popular favorite. So much so that there are special fanservice episodes in various other genres of anime. Though I am not a regular viewer of ecchi anime, I do enjoy them on occasion (and probably, so do you). Here are some of the Best Ecchi Anime With That Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice. Each of these anime series takes a different approach to ecchi shenanigans, and they all have something for everyone.
Ecchi anime are suggestive and playful, it blends well with other genres and it’s not limited to just comedies or dramas. For example, the harem genre blends well with ecchi because a circumstance wherein the main character is surrounded or pursued by multiple characters of the opposite sex creates opportunities for exciting mishaps and encounters.
Sekirei
Minato Sahashi, a struggling yet smart 19-year-old, has failed his college entrance examinations for the second time, rendering him useless in the eyes of others around him. However, when a beautiful, magical woman descends from the sky and into his life, the direction of his seemingly grim future is significantly altered. Musubi is a one-of-a-kind entity known as a “Sekirei,” a humanoid extraterrestrial with amazing talents. These aliens are known for kissing humans with the Ashikabi gene to awaken further dormant powers deep within.
Recognizing the promise in the seemingly unimportant youth, Musubi kisses the befuddled Minato, forming a relationship between them. This propels him into the high-stakes realm of the Sekirei, where he and his new companion must compete against others in a survival war known as the “Sekirei Plan.” However, the candidates are unaware that there is significantly more at stake than what the challenge initially intended.
Sekirei is a pretty simple & straightforward ecchi harem anime if you are into that stuff (which you obviously are, considering you’re here in the first place) then you will love this show!
Freezing
Humanity is under siege by an alien race known as the Novas decades in the future. When these inhuman monsters arise, they leave devastation in their path, and the efforts to keep them at bay have become known as Nova Clashes. Young women known as “Pandoras” and young men known as “Limiters” are implanted with stigmata to provide them superhuman abilities and taught in military academies, where they must learn to work together if mankind is to survive.
Freezing follows Kazuya Aoi as he begins his first day at the West Genetics military academy, just as the Pandoras engage in a combat royale. It is here that he misidentifies Satellizer el Bridget, a powerful Pandora is known as the “Untouchable Queen,” and hugs her as his deceased sister. Despite the fact that he costs her the match, she discovers that his touch does not repel her and decides to use him as her Limiter. The only question is whether their alliance will survive the machinations of their upperclassmen and the looming conflict with the Novas…
The story is original, although it has the overused theme of aliens coming to earth for reasons unknown other than destruction, a typical fanservice-harem anime was easily revealed when the main roles were given to sexy teenage girls with giant racks and fetishes …
Fan-service aside, this anime did a great job at adapting the manga material.
Ladies vs Butlers
Hino Akiharu was adopted into his uncle’s family when his parents died when he was a child. He doesn’t want to be a burden on his uncle’s household, so he enrolls in Hakureiryou high school as a butler. His delinquent boy-like image, on the other hand, frightens the girls, who make up the majority of the students. Akiharu encounters his childhood crush Saikyou Tomomi after being unable to get along with his friends.
Ladies versus Butlers in an anime that when you first watch it, already gives the impression that they’ve tried to implement as many clichés as possible in the first episode. Ranging from the overused oh-I-tripped-and-accidentally-touched-your-boobs-with-my-hand scene to lolis that look half the age they actually are, you’d have trouble coming up with something they haven’t used yet. But overall, it’s a decent ecchi harem anime with all sorts of tropes and clichés.

Isuca
Shinichirou Asano has had the worst luck. His parents deserted him and fled to Europe. If that wasn’t horrible enough, they didn’t even leave him enough money to live on. Shinichirou is saved by a strange female wielding a bow and arrow, who turns out to be Sakuya Shimazu, a lovely student at his school. But when he subsequently assists an injured girl, he learns two things. First and foremost, the injured girl is a nekomata, a two-tailed demon cat. Second, Sakuya comes from a line of exorcists who have for millennia defended humanity from wayward monsters and spirits. Sakuya enlists Shinichirou’s assistance in recapturing the nekomata because he was responsible for its release, but this is only the beginning of Shinichirou’s connection with Sakuya. It turns out the Shimazu family needs a housekeeper and it just so happens that Shinichirou excels at cooking and likes to clean! It may not be his dream job, but if it pays the rent and puts food on the table…
