The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man is set to debut on October 11 in Japan, reveals their official Twitter account.
The anime’s website also revealed a list of platforms that will stream or broadcast the show in other countries. Amazon Prime Video, Animax Korea, Ani-One, bilibili, Netflix, and Hulu are among them. Crunchyroll announced in May that it would simulcast the show.
Chainsaw Man will air on Japanese TV first at 24 PM JST (effectively October 12, 12 AM JST). Overseas platforms will release the episodes at least an hour later, although it is noted that there may be variations in time and date depending on the service.
The Chainsaw Man anime’s staff includes director Ryuu Nakayama (Gamers! opening director and storyboarder et al., Macross Delta main animator, The Ryuo’s Work Is Never Done! opening director and storyboarder et al.), character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation), action director Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover director [until Episode 152] and chief director
Additionally, Makoto Nakazono (A3! assistant director) serves as chief episode director, Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Deca-Dence cyborg designer, DEVILMAN crybaby devil designer) serves as devil designer, Yusuke Takeda (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song-) serves as art director, Naomi Nakano (Kemono Jihen) serves as color designer, Youhei Miyahara (Fate/ MAPPA is the animation production company.
Meanwhile, the main cast includes Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Shogo Sakata as Aki, and Fairouz Ai as Power.
Chainsaw Man is based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which debuted in 2018. The first part of the manga ran from 2019 to 2021 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The second part began serialization on the Shonen Jump+ app and website in July.

Denji’s a poor young man who’ll do anything for money, even hunting down devils with his pet devil Pochita. He’s a simple man with simple dreams, drowning under a mountain of debt. But his sad life gets turned upside down one day when he’s betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a devil inside him, Denji’s become a whole new man—Chainsaw Man!
