Following weeks of rumors, leaks, and teases, the Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover is finally here and it’s one of the most extensive collaborations in Fortnite’s history. Skins for Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Bulma have been added to the game, with all but Beerus sporting different looks. Other additions to the game include new Dragon Ball weapons, Creative mode maps, and a limited-time free battle pass-like rewards track, giving players, even more, to see and do in Fortnite, all inspired by Dragon Ball Super. Everything you need to know about the Fortnite x Dragon Ball event is right here.
Here is a full list of the events and collaborations players can expect to see in Fortnite.
A new “Power Unleashed!” event page has been created, allowing players to track their Power Level progress and take part in seven Dragon Ball Battle Royale quest sets. They are intended to put players’ strength, agility, and focus to the test. Players will earn a Dragon Ball for each completed quest, which will increase their Power Level and unlock special rewards such as Dragon Radar Back Bling, Emotes, Sprays, and Battle Pass levels.
The page will only be available for a limited time, with quests and rewards available until August 30, 2022, at 4:00 a.m. EST. After completing their quests and collecting all seven Dragon Balls, players will be given a special Shenron Glider.
Beginning on August 19, 2022, Fortnite players will be able to explore iconic Dragon Ball franchise locations and locate the Dragon Balls in the Adventure Island event. Players will be able to visit Kami’s Palace, Goku’s House, and the Room of Spirit & Time. They will also be able to put their skills to the test in the “Tenkaichi Budokai,” an open player-vs-player battle arena.
Another unique phenomenon occurs in Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode, where Bounty Boards are temporarily replaced with Versus Boards for the Dragon Ball event. If two players interact in Versus Boards, they will be revealed on each other’s maps and given five minutes to find and defeat each other to claim victory.
Players will also be able to fight with Goku’s powers in the Battle Royale, with his Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud items at their disposal. Players will be able to pick up these items in-game from Capsule Corp. sky deliveries during each match. As the event progresses, more of these capsules will appear.
Meanwhile, Fortnite players can unwind by boarding a cruise ship and watching episodes of the Dragon Ball Super anime series from August 16 to September 17. For a limited time, Fortnite’s Discover section will stream Episodes 9, 10, 11, 13, 81, and 98.
Fans of Dragon Ball Z will be able to interact with Bulma, who is located at the Kame House off the coast of the mainland Island. If players want to give some of their Bars away, they can talk to the wandering Bulma, who will provide some extremely powerful items.
Beginning August 18, 2022, players in all regions can also participate in the Tournament of Power Battle Royale Duos game to win fantastic prizes. Players in the top 50% of the main leaderboard will receive an Angry Vegeta Emoticon, while those who earn eight points will receive Goku’s Kanji Banner icon. Players who earned three points in Eliminations while using a Kamehameha item will receive a Beerus Eating Spray.
The Tournament of Power allows you to play up to ten Fortnite matches within your region’s three-hour time limit, which can be found in-game under the Compete tab. To participate, players must have Two-Factor Authentication enabled and verified on their Epic account. To be eligible for the tournament, their account must be level 50 or higher.
