An October 5 Japanese premiere date has been revealed for the Futoku no Guild anime adaptation. A trailer and key visual were released as well.
The trailer previews the opening song “Never the Fever!!” by Sayaka Sasaki and the rest of the supporting cast.
Futoku no Guild is based on the Square Enix-published “hunting erotic comedy” manga by Taichi Kawazoe, which began in 2017 and will release its 10th tankoubon volume on September 12, 2022. The manga is serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan and published under the Gangan Comics label.
The plot revolves around Kikuru, a young and highly skilled hunter who has spent most of his life training. He now wishes to leave his job and reclaim his youth, but he must first train a successor. Unfortunately, he is surrounded by new guild members constantly putting him in awkward situations during quests.
Takuya Asaoka (Redo of Healer) is the director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Dropkick on My Devil!!!! X) is the series composer, Hiraku Kaneko (Valkyrie Drive -Mermaid- director and character designer) is the character designer, and Ryou Shirasawa from Noisycroak is the music composer. The animation production company is TNK.
Other members of the team include art director Satoru Hirayanagi (Fate Grand Order Final Singularity – Grand Temple of Time Solomon co-art director), color designer Aiko Matsuyama (The Quintessential Quintuplets movie), and photography director Takuya Ogata (Kandagawa Jet Girls co-photography director).
Meanwhile, Katsumi Fukuhara plays Kikuru Madan, Karin Isobe plays Hitamu Kyan, Ayano Shibuya plays Maidena Ange, You Taichi plays Tokishikko Dana, Yuna Kamakura plays Hanabata Norkins, Saho Shirasu plays Noma Rune, Rumi Ookubo plays Enome, and Yuyu Shoji plays Esyne.
