The much-awaited gen 9 Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are finally out, and fans love the adventure.
However, players started noticing some frame rate and performance issues after playing the games. Even on twitch a lot of streamers were facing frame drops.
.But you needn’t worry, a popular account on Twitter called Centro has found a workaround for this issue.
So without further ado, here’s how to fix the frame rate & performance issues in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet!
How to Fix Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Frame Rate Issues
On November 17, Centro tweeted “FRAME RATE ISSUES CAN BE FIXED BY RESTARTING THE GAME”. That’s a pretty anti-climactic solution, we know. But, according to Centro, it works.
They also said that based on their testing, the biggest issue they had, the framerate drops, appear to come from a memory leak or similar when you are near towns or cities.

The framerates seem to get terrible after playing the game for a while, but saving and restarting the game seems to fix it.
Hopefully, GameFreak will fix the memory leak causing the frame rate drops with an update soon.
