The release date for My Hero Academia season 6 has finally been set. My Hero Academia was picked up for a sixth season right after the end of its fifth season last year. Since then, there have been teasers and key images that hint at a fall 2022 release. Since the news of the renewal, fans have been getting a lot of new content, like the My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission movie, official art, trailers, OVAs, and the manga, which is still coming out. But after the cliffhanger at the end of season 5, My Hero Academia fans have been eager to get back into the story.
My Hero Academia starts out pretty as a pretty lighthearted anime, but as the story goes on, it gets darker. This change in tone was most noticeable in My Hero Academia season 5, which sets the stage for season 6. At the end of season 5, Class 1A is on top of a cliff and has to get civilians out of a city full of enemies. However, promotional materials for season 6 suggest that the heroes-in-training won’t be kept away from the fight for long.
According to the official My Hero Academia Twitter, Season 6 will start on October 1, 2022. This date was on a poster for season 6. The new image sets up the new episodes by showing the heroes-in-training and pro-heroes fighting together against the looming threat from the villains.
Similar to the first five seasons, My Hero Academia Season 6 will be streaming on Crunchyroll. And the English dub is expected to follow soon after. However, no fixed date has been announced as of yet.
As the new season approaches, My Hero Academia has already set high expectations for viewers.
