Similar to Pokémon, Pals in Palworld and their moves are assigned certain types. Each type has strengths and weaknesses in both attack and defense. In battle, use Pals and moves that have a type advantage over your opponent; doing so will result in significantly more damage than usual.
There are a total of nine types in Palworld, and each of them has its strengths & weaknesses. As of right now, Fire is the only element that is strong against two elements, while neutral isn’t strong against any type.

The fire type stands out as it is strong against both Grass and Ice types. The neutral type isn’t strong against any type but is very useful for construction and mining tasks.

Having a type advantage can greatly enhance your Pals’ combat abilities, making it essential to have a diverse collection of Pals covering all nine types.
