An anime adaptation of the manga series “Quality Assurance in Another World” has been announced with a teaser trailer and visual. The anime is set to premiere in spring 2024.
The 100studio and Studio Palette co-production has chosen Kei Umabiki, who worked as an assistant director in “Ayakashi Triangle,” as the director of their upcoming anime series. They have also announced the participation of Shougo Yasukawa, who also worked on “Ayakashi Triangle,” as the series composer, and Shigeo Akahori, known for his work in “Texhnolyze” and other popular anime series, as the character designer.
Meanwhile, the main cast includes Kaito Ishikawa as Haga and Hinaki Yano as Nikola.
Masamichi Satou’s manga Quality Assurance in Another World began serialization in Kodansha’s Comic Days in 2020 and has eight tankoubon volumes as of October 2022.
Kodansha USA describes the plot as:
Nikola is merely a village girl employed at the inn… Until dragons attack and she meets Haga, a scholar of everything around him. He is a member of the “Seeker” elite society, which was formed to address a number of maladies plaguing their normally peaceful world. But both Nikola and Haga are hiding secrets…secrets that will change their very existence…
