An anime adaptation for “The Boxer”, a popular WEBTOON series with over 160 million views has been announced. The anime is being produced by studio XSTORM.
Jung Ji-bestselling Hoon’s webtoon The Boxer is finally getting an anime adaptation. XTORM studio made the announcement on April 17, 2023. The Boxer webtoon is widely regarded as the best K-webtoon boxing comic. The webtoon has been read over 166.7 million times and has a worldwide fan base.
The author of the boxing webtoon, Jung Ji-Hoon, is also the creator of “The Horizon and I Have Something to Tell You”.
The Boxer made its Webtoon debut in May 2020, with 123 chapters. It received a lot of love from fans and will end on June 22, 2022. Daewon C.I. officially published The Boxer webtoon in book form on October 29, 2021.

XTORM has also announced that it would direct the anime adaptation of “Seasons of Blossom”, a slice-of-life romance series. Seasons of Blosson will premiere in 2024, with eight episodes lasting 24 minutes each. A live-action adaptation of the series has also been approved.
The complete series of The Boxer is now available to read on mobile devices via WEBTOON. Seasons of Blossom can also be read on WEBTOON.
