Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 3 was announced to start airing on October 8, 2022. They’ve also revealed a new key visual, which shows Iruma and the rest of the class in a jungle.
The announcement was previously hinted at on the official Twitter account, with the date and hour coded in Demon World language from the novel. The Harvest Festival will be the focus of the upcoming season.
The production team for the third season includes numerous staff members that worked on the first two seasons of the show. After directing previous seasons, Makoto Moriwaki (PriPara) will take on the position again. The series writing supervisor is Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2), while the character designer is Yumiko Hara (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season two co-character designer). The musical composition is once again being composed by Akimitsu Honma (Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku). Bandai Namco Pictures produced the animation for the first two seasons and will do so again for the third.
Hello and welcome to Demon School! Osamu Nishi’s school fantasy manga series inspired Iruma-kun. It debuted on March 2, 2017 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Champion and has since released 27 tankoubon volumes as of August 2022.
The first season of the anime ran from October 2019 to March 2020, while the second season aired from April to September 2021. Crunchyroll licensed the anime series for English-speaking areas, and both seasons were streamed as they aired in Japan.
