The official website and Twitter account for the anime television series Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion have revealed a new key visual, PV trailer, voice cast, production staff, and ending theme song. The anime will also be released in April 2023.
Yume Miyamoto plays Raeliana McMillan/Rinko Hanasaki (known as Eunha Park in the original manhwa), Yuuichirou Umehara plays Noah Voltaire Wynknight, Shuuichirou Umeda plays Adam Taylor, Shunichi Toki plays Keith Westernberg, Akira Ishida plays Heika Demint, Tomokazu Sugita plays Justin Shamal, Yumika Yano plays Vivian Sham
Musical artist SERRA is also performing the ending theme song “Always and Forever,” which is featured prominently in the trailer.
Junichi Yamamoto (Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen, More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers) is the series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Mitsutaka Hirota (Bibliophile Princess, The Prince of Tennis II, Rent-A-Girlfriend) is the character designer, Kio Edamatsu is the prop designer, Kenji Kato is the art director, and Chieko Hibi is the color key artist. Yuzuru Funakoshi is the series’ director of photography, and Tetsuya Watanabe is in charge of the 3D CG.
Glovision’s other staff members include sound director Yasunori Ebina and music composer Keiji Inai (The Misfit of Demon Kingademy, The Royal Tutor). Lantis is in charge of the series’ overall music. The animation production is handled by Typhoon Graphics.
Milcha (who also wrote the original web novel) and Whale created the Korean manhwa comic. From September 3, 2017 to March 22, 2021, the series was available on the Piccoma website, and as of January 20, 2022, seven physical volumes had been released. The webtoon, titled The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion, is available in English on Tappytoon. In 2021, a video game adaptation was also released on Steam.
